Officers are urging residents to be on their guard after receiving a number of reports of cold callers across the North Norfolk district in the last few days.
Information has been received regarding a male attending at properties with a holdall style bag offering gardening equipment, household and car cleaning items for sale in Wells, Cromer and North Walsham.
Yesterday (19/04), Officers spoke with a male on Fairview Road, North Walsham the male admitted selling door to door without a Pedlars Certificate, he was reported for the offence and the items he was attempting to sell were seized as evidence.
Norfolk Police and Norfolk Trading Standards advise NEVER to deal with anyone who cold calls at your property offering to undertake services or attempting to sell items.
